Devco designed, procured equipment, transported, constructed and operated a 3,000 metric tons per day sulfur pelletizing facility, processing molten sulfur from an adjacent ARAMCO gas processing plant. Devco also supplied and operated facilities to reclaim, remelt and purify over 800,000 metric tons of solid sulfur. The pelletized sulfur was trucked from Shedgum 220 kilometers to the Port of Jubail where Devco operated a pier for stockpiling sulfur and loading ships at the rate of 14,000 metric tons per day. Devco also marketed the sulfur (over 2,300,000 metric tons in 3 years) into 13 countries worldwide.
