Devco managed the design and construction, and operates through this affiliate, a pelletizing facility processing byproduct sulfur from refineries in the Los Angeles basin. The affiliate operates its own fleet of trucks picking up molten sulfur. The facility includes product and stacking conveyors with an open stockpile capacity of 70,000 metric tons. Pelletized sulfur is sold on the export market and loaded aboard ships at Long Beach, California. This facility complies with one of the strictest environmental codes known.
