Devco was awarded a contract by SPRC, a joint company owned by Caltex and PTT, the Thai national oil company, following its selection in a competitive international tender for a sulfur forming unit. Devco’s contract not only covers the supply of the pelletizer unit, but also the design and supply of all equipment from SPRC’s sulfur storage tank to the conveying and stockpiling of the product pellets. Construction supervision, training of operators and commissioning were also included. Performance testing of this 50 metric ton per hour unit proved a production capacity well in excess of design criteria.
