Devco was awarded this contract jointly by Astrakhangazprom (AGP), who will supply raw molten sulfur to and operate this unit, and Fedcominvest, who is financing the construction and will market the formed sulfur product. Devco’s scope of work covers design, construction and installation of all facilities downstream of AGP’s liquid sulfur storage, while providing construction supervision, training of operators, and commission­ing of this 85 metric tons per hour capacity unit, which began operation in June 1999.
