Devco has supplied seven liquid sulfur block pouring arms and three sulfur pouring towers to TCO. The pouring arms are mobile and have significantly lower capital costs than conventional block pouring units. They have the capability to pour large quantities of sulfur to block over an extremely large surface area, thus eliminating the formation of liquid pockets or “hot spots”. The sulfur pouring towers are much simpler in design and are much less expensive than conventional pouring towers.
