Devco was awarded this supplemental contract by KBR/Technip following its election in a competitive international tender for solid sulfur handling equipment. Devco’s contract covers the supply of several hundred meters of solid sulfur transfer conveyors along with a shiploader system designed to load bulk cargo ships a rate of 13,000 metric tons per 18-hour period. The contract was awarded in April 2000 and shipment to Qatar was completed mid-2001.

Devco’s contract covers the supply of two Berndorf AccuDrop sulfur pastillation units with a capacity of 200 metric tons per day, a 15,000 metric ton solid sulfur storage silo, and an interconnecting bucket conveyor. The contract was awarded in February 2000 and shipment to Qatar was completed mid-2001.
