Devco
was awarded this equipment supply contract following a
competitive international tender by BP. The contract covered
the supply of the pelletizing unit as well as a transfer
conveyor and truck loading silos. This contract was awarded
in July, 1999 and the facility was commissioned in November,
2000. Devco and BP have subsequently signed an agreement
for Devco Australia Holdings Pty. Ltd. to repurchase the
assets and operate them on a long-term basis.
