Devco was awarded this contract by KBR/Technip following a competitive international tender for a sulfur forming facility. The contract was awarded in February 2000, and shipment to Qatar was completed mid-2001.

Devco was also awarded a supplemental contract by KBR/Technip following its election in a competitive international tender for solid sulfur handling equipment. This contract covers the supply of several hundred meters of solid sulfur transfer conveyors along with a shiploader system designed to load bulk cargo ships at a rate of 13,000 tonnes per 18 hour period.

The supplemental contract was awarded in April 2000, and shipment to Qatar was completed mid-2001.
