Devco has established a relationship with Berndorf Belt Systems USA to sell its AccuDrop sulfur pastillation technology. Devco has installed several such units in locations around the world in conjunction with conveying, storage, truck and ship loading facilities.
The Berndorf Belt System produces dry sulfur pastilles. A rotating head continuously deposits uniform droplets of sulfur onto a stainless steel conveyor belt traveling at the same linear speed under the head. The sulfur droplets, once in contact with the conveyor belt, form into 3.2 – 4.0mm pastilles, which are cooled indirectly by water that is sprayed onto the underside of the belt and the formed pastilles drop off the conveyor belt as it returns to pick up more pastilles.
